By continuing to access Manas Yoga studio or website https://www.manas-yoga.studio, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which, together with the privacy policy, govern Manas Yoga’s relationship with you in relation to the website and studio. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website/studio. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check our website for changes periodically. Please do not use this website if you disagree with any of these terms and conditions.

All copyright, data, text, software, images, graphics, trademarks, logos, interfaces, photographs, and other intellectual property (Content) on the Website is owned, controlled by, or licensed to Manas Yoga. Except for viewing the content for your non-commercial use, Manas Yoga does not grant you any rights to use the Website or content for any other purpose unless it expressly consents in writing.

Studio terms and conditions

Please read through the terms and conditions on our website thoroughly before enrolling. When enrolling as a student of Manas Yoga, Franz-Josefs-Kai 41/17 Vienna, Austria 1010 you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out on the Manas Yoga’s website: manas-yoga.studio

While we endeavour to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Manas Yoga is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for late classes, changed, or cancelled for any reason. Teachers are subject to change without notice. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class as late entry is discouraged and cannot be guaranteed. For security reasons, the door to the studio is locked at the beginning of each class. Please check in at reception before each class. Manas Yoga is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.

Bookings are to be made via our website and/or Eversports app or in the studio. To book a class, you must either have credits in your account or pay at the time of booking. Class payment must be made upon booking.

You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such a practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all yoga exercises. Classes at Manas Yoga may be physically strenuous, and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss, or death. Manas  Yoga is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property, or death resulting from attending our studio. Manas Yoga reserves the right to refuse access or entry to any person to its premises or to participate in any of its classes for any reasonable cause, including but not limited to, misconduct or intoxication or on medical grounds or failure to comply with these ‘Terms and Conditions’. By booking into a class you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions.

COVID-19 Restrictions

By purchasing any of the services offered by Manas Yoga, you agree to observe any COVID-19 restrictions or recommendations imposed by the State of Vienna and/or the Austrian Government.

Booking changes and cancellation policy

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to attend. 

Class cancellations can be made via our website or Eversports App. Class cancellations can be made up to 6 hours before the class starts without incurring a charge.

Students using an Intro Trial, Drop-In Passes or Block Passes who register for a class but do not show up will forfeit their entitlement to the class. Students using an Intro Trial, Drop-In Passes or Block Passes who book into a class but cancel the booking within 6 hours of the class starts will forfeit their class.

Cancellations will not be accepted via phone, email, or social media.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in Euros, and all transactions are processed in Euros. Prices, products, and offers include VAT exclusive of Retreats and Teacher Training, the VAT for these event are not included in the price listed. All prices are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice. Sale items are only available at a lower price during the sale period. Unforeseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. We reserve the right to amend prices and printing errors. Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and inflation. All passes and memberships are non-transferable. Manas Yoga reserves the right to pass on any additional bank fees incurred from disputed or failed transactions regarding a student’s account. 

Members get the benefit of a 10% discount on yoga workshops, yoga retreats and yoga teacher training each month.

Workshops and Events

Manas Yoga does not offer refunds or credits on workshops or events for change of mind, change of address, or other reasons. In case of injury or illness please send us the doctor’s confirmation to receive an extension.

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your workshop ticket to another person’s name by emailing Manas Yoga at least 48 hours before the start of the workshop.

Payment needs to be made upon booking. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the workshop’s scheduled start time. Late entry to workshops will not be permitted. Any no-show or absence will result in forfeiting that visit.

Intro offer

Our Intro Offer is available only to new practitioners. Your pass will be activated from your first class booked. Your Intro Offer is valid for 10 days from your first class. Classes included in your Intro Offer are non-transferable and non-suspendable. Participants who have practiced at Manas Yoga previously are not eligible for this offer.

Multi-Class Passes & Drop-In Passes

A Drop-In pass is valid for all classes and has a validity of 14 days from the date of purchase. A Drop-In Kids pass is valid for all kids classes and has a validity of 14 days from the date of purchase. A 5-Class Pass is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. A 10-Class Pass & 10-Class Pass Kids are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. A 20-Class Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Manas Yoga does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions, or extensions on the above class packs for change of mind, change of address, or any other reason, including the inability to utilize all classes before pack expiration. In case of injury or illness please send us the doctor’s confirmation to receive an extension.

Any non-cancellations, no-shows, or absences will result in forfeiting that visit. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within 6 hours of the class start time, you will forfeit 1 class from your pass.

Manas Yoga is not responsible if Multi-Class Pass holders cannot use Manas Yoga’s services or facilities because of an event caused by a natural force such as extreme weather, or something similar beyond our reasonable control. The Multi-Class Pass excludes attendance at workshops, retreats, and special events.

Annual membership – 12 months auto-debit, auto-renewal, 12 months binding period

Our unlimited monthly membership agreements of 12 monthly debits of 100€ with a 12-month binding period.

Memberships are paid monthly in advance for the following month of practice.

Manas Yoga does not offer refunds for change of mind, change of address, or any other reason, including the inability to utilize all classes before membership expiration. In case of injury or illness please send us the doctor’s confirmation to receive an extension. All purchases are final.

For pauses of active memberships, we require at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing date, and the suspension is possible for a minimum of 2 weeks and possible in 1-week blocks thereafter.

You may pause your active membership for up to 12 weeks at a time and for a maximum of 12 weeks per calendar year.

Requests to pause active memberships must be made in writing here. Requests will not be accepted by any other means.

Memberships exclude attendance at guest teachers’ classes, workshops and special events.

Memberships cannot be shared. Anyone found to be sharing their membership will be denied entry and have their membership cancelled.

Manas Yoga is not responsible if members cannot use Manas Yoga’s services or facilities because of an event caused by a natural force such as, extreme weather, or something similar beyond our reasonable control. If this continues for more than 30 days, you or we may cancel your membership immediately by written notice.

The membership is automatically extended for another 12 months unless written notice of termination is received at least 1 month before the membership expires. Cancellation must be made in writing here.

6-months membership – auto-debit, auto-renewal, 6 months binding period

6-month memberships – 6 months minimum term, are a rolling contract and will continue to debit 115€ monthly until you request cancellation in writing.

Manas Yoga does not offer refunds for change of mind, change of address, or any other reason, including the inability to utilize all classes before membership expiration. In case of injury or illness please send us the doctor’s confirmation to receive an extension. All purchases are final.

For pauses of memberships, we require at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing date, and the suspension is possible for a minimum of 2 weeks and possible in 1-week blocks thereafter.

The membership is automatically extended for another 6 months unless written notice of termination is received at least 1 month before the membership expires. Cancellation must be made in writing here.

 
M4 membership – 3 months auto-debit, auto-renewal, 3 months binding period

M4 memberships – 3 months minimum term, are a rolling contract and will continue to debit 70€ monthly until you request cancellation in writing.

M4 Members may attend any 4 classes within a month. 

Manas  Yoga does not offer refunds for: change of mind, change of address, or any other reason, including the inability to utilize all classes before membership expiration. In case of injury or illness please send us the doctor’s confirmation to receive an extension. All purchases are final.

Gift cards

Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.

Valid for 3 years from the date of first use. Gift Cards are not transferable. Manas Yoga does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions, or extensions on Gift Cards for change of mind, change of address, or any other reason. All purchases are final. We accept no responsibility if a card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. Gift Cards may be purchased online or in the studio. Manas Yoga is not responsible if gift-card holders cannot use Manas Vienna Yoga services or facilities because of an event caused by a natural force such as, extreme weather, or something similar beyond our reasonable control.

Yoga Teacher Training
Attendance Policy

Missing Training Hours:

Each student is allowed to miss up to 2 days of the training and still remain eligible for certification. If more than 2 days are missed, the student will not qualify for certification in the current program but may complete the required hours and qualify at the next certification date.

Missed sessions within the allowed absence limit can be made up with additional, however, students must schedule these sessions with the program director in advance. For any hours beyond the permitted absences, make-up sessions are available at an additional fee of €100 per hour.

Please notify the program director before the weekend you will be missing to arrange a make-up plan.

Tardiness:

To maintain a focused and respectful learning environment, please arrive on time for each session. The door will be closed 10 minutes after the start of class. Late arrivals will not be admitted once the door is closed and may enter only at the next scheduled break. This policy ensures minimal disruptions and supports a smooth experience for all participants. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding..

Withdrawal Policy:

If a student wishes to withdrawal from our program for any reason, they must first contact the program director to discuss their reasons for withdrawal. Refunds will be given in accordance with the program’s refund policy.

Termination from Program:

The program may decide to terminate any student’s participation in the program if:

(1) false information was used in the admission process that materially affects the program;

(2) a student missed more than 20% of any subject category;

(3) a student is absent for more than 2 consecutive weekends without contacting the program director;

(4) the student fails to make timely payments of tuition;

If the program decides to end the student’s participation in the program, the student is not entitled to any prior payments or fees. All prior payments and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Termination from Program: Bad Conduct

No refunds will be given if the program removes a student from the program for bad conduct.
Bad conduct is a violation of the Code of Conduct, gossip, harassment, bullying, or any other behavior that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students.

Refund Policy

Upon receiving an acceptance email, the applicant will be charged a deposit of €500 on their debit or credit card. Final invoices will be emailed four weeks before the start date of training.

The deadline to pay in full is four weeks prior to the start date of training. If an applicant withdraws from the program after acceptance, but before the program starts, 50% from applicant’s deposit amount will be retained by the program. However, such amount can be applied towards a future training program. The program will not give any refunds or credits after the training starts. The program reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins. In that case any payments applicants have made will be refunded in full.

Special Cases

In case a student needs to withdraw from the program due to illness, accident, death in the family, or other circumstances that make it impractical for the student to complete the course, the program will provide a reasonable and fair refund.

Bad Conduct

No refunds will be given if the program removes a student from the program for bad conduct. Bad conduct is violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any other behavior that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students.

Minimum Enrollment Policy

The training program requires a minimum of 10 participants for the full 200-hour YTT and 8 participants for each 50-hour module to proceed as scheduled. If enrollment falls below these minimums, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the training or adjust the schedule. In the event of cancellation, all registered participants will be notified, and any payments will be refunded or credited toward future training dates. Thank you for your understanding and commitment.

Yoga Retreat
  1. Booking and Payment:
    • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot for the retreat. The remaining balance must be paid 45 day before the Retreat start date.
    • Payments can be made via bank transfer.
    • Failure to make the full payment by the specified deadline may result in the forfeiture of your spot on the retreat.
  1. Cancellation and Refunds:
    • The deposit for the retreat is non-refundable under any circumstances.
    • If you cancel your participation in the retreat after the full payment has been made, refunds will be provided according to the following schedule:
      • 75% refund if canceled 180 days before the start of the retreat.
      • 50% refund if canceled 90 days before the start of the retreat.
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 45 days before the start of the retreat.
  2. Accommodation:
    • Participants are responsible for paying and booking their accommodation directly for the duration of the retreat.
    • Accommodation options, including room types and rates, will be provided by the hotel directly.
    • It is the responsibility of each participant to secure their accommodation by contacting the hotel and making the necessary arrangements.
    • The retreat organizers are not responsible for any issues or disputes related to accommodation bookings, including but not limited to availability, pricing, or quality of accommodations provided by the hotel.
    • Participants are responsible for any additional costs associated with their accommodation, including room upgrades, additional services, and incidentals.
  1. Travel Arrangements:
    • Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat location. This also applies to the arrangement of a visa for entry into the Philippines.
    • It is recommended that participants purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
    • Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally capable of participating in the activities offered during the retreat, including yoga sessions and diving/snorkeling excursions.
    • The retreat organizers reserve the right to refuse participation to any individual deemed unfit or unsuitable for the activities.
  1. Liability:
    • Participants understand that participation in the retreat activities, including yoga sessions and diving/snorkeling excursions, involves certain risks and hazards.
    • The retreat organizers, instructors, and venue owners will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, or damages that may occur during the retreat.
    • Participants are required to sign a liability waiver before participating in any activities.

6. Code of Conduct:

    • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards fellow participants, instructors, and staff.
    • Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive by the retreat organizers may result in the participant being asked to leave the retreat without refund.

7. Changes and Cancellations by Organizers:

    • In the event that the retreat must be canceled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration to a future retreat or receive a full refund of all payments made. The retreat organizers reserve the right to make changes to the retreat itinerary, schedule, or accommodations if necessary.
