Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, Yoga Nidra – often referred to as “yogic sleep” – is a deeply transformative practice that guides practitioners into a state of profound, conscious rest. Originally developed as a meditative technique to access inner stillness and wisdom, Yoga Nidra has evolved into a widely embraced healing art, appreciated today for its ability to restore balance and peace in our fast paced world.
Designed for yoga teachers, aspiring instructors, and Yoga Nidra enthusiasts, this yoga teacher training offers a deep immersion into the art of guiding Yoga Nidra. Whether you aim to enhance your teaching toolkit or simply immerse yourself in this healing practice, this course will provide the skills, insights, and confidence to share Yoga Nidra with others—or deepen your own experience of it.
This is a 30-Hour Yoga Alliance certified Training which counts towards continuing education hours with the Yoga Alliance International (YACEP).

• Live Sessions: 12 hours of in-depth lectures and practice with Annemarie
• Recorded Practices: 15 Online & recorded sessions to review and practice at your own pace
• Self-Practice: 3-hours home-based practice assignments
• Manual: Comprehensive digital manual with resources, practice scripts, and guidelines for teaching
This course includes 15 weekly Yoga Nidra sessions designed to deepen your experiential understanding and practice. These sessions will be held live on Mondays at 8 PM and will be available as recordings for 7 days afterward, ensuring flexibility for participants who cannot attend live.
Each session will begin with a focused “learning nugget,” introducing a key concept or experiential topic that aligns with the broader themes of the teacher training. These learning nuggets provide valuable insights into Yoga Nidra’s transformative potential, serving as a foundation for both personal growth and teaching development.

Additionally, the live sessions will include short weekly Discussion Forums, creating opportunities to engage with fellow participants and your instructor.

AKA Annemarie VENUSfrequency is an Austro-American, Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Reiki Master, Holistic Body Wisdom Guide, Public Speaker, Photo Storyteller, Radio producer and DJane; in short, Soul Artist and Modern Medicine Woman.
I started practicing yoga in the Jivamukti tradition more than 20 years ago in New York’s East Village. In 2003, a severe skydiving accident dramatically, yet mindfully and gently redefined her connection to body, mind, soul, PRANA (LifeEnergy), her yoga path; and community.
